I have had the pleasure of practicing both Mat and Reformer Pilates under Sarah's instruction. I had never done Pilates before and was a bit hesitant to try something new. Sarah was incredibly patient and thorough in her explanations as she guided me through my first few lessons. My previous hesitations quickly dissipated and I found myself anxiously awaiting each class. I would highly recommend Sarah to both beginners as well as experienced students. Sarah has the seamless ability to adapt each class to fit the group and even for individual's within a group she is instructing. Anyone who has the chance to take Sarah's classes will walk out feeling good about themselves both physically and mentally; who could ask for more than that?!
It has been a joy to practice yoga and Pilates with Sarah Callaham. I have taken a variety of classes from her, ranging from Vinyasa flow to Pilates mat and Yoga combinations. From the moment you start a session with Sarah, she is supportive of where you are at in your body and your practice. She is very intuitive and pushes you to try new moves, as well as helping you reach new levels. I enjoy how she is always willing to spend a few extra moments on a particular move to make sure you understand how to perform it properly without injuring yourself. I would highly recommend taking a class with Sarah as soon as you can - either in a public or private session.
